Barcelone : le mélange du très moderne et du plus ancien.

Barcelona: mixture of the very modern and the very old.

En une semaine à Barcelone, j'ai eu l'occasion de voir la plupart des endroits qu'il faut voir !

Within the week I spent in Barcelona, I had the opportunity to see almost everything that you must see being there!

Dans la vielle ville : la cathédrale. Cathédrale gothique. Les messes sont données en espagnol et en catalan. Pas loin, il y a le palau reial et la maison des archives. Il est possible de monter sur le toit de la cathédrale pour avoir une vue sur l'ensemble de Barcelone !

In the old town: the cathedral. It's a gothic cathedral. Mass are given in Spanish… and Catalan. Not far away, the palau reial and the house of the archives. It is possible to get on the roof of the cathedral and have a super nice view of the whole Barcelona!

En bordure de la vielle ville, il y a le marché San José - La Boqueria. Plein plein plein de choses ici ! Des fruits mûrs qui sentent bon, des épices, du poisson frais, des fruits sec, du turon…

Close to the old town, there is the market of San José - La Boqueria. Lots lots lots of nice things there! Smelly fruits, spices, fresh fish, dry fruits, turon…

Barcelone, c'est la ville de Gaudì avant tout : le palais Güell, la Sagrada Familia, la Casa Milà, la Casa Batlo, le parc Güell…

Barcelona, it's the city of Gaudì before-all: the Güell palace, the Sagrada Familia, the Casa Milà, the Casa Batlo, the park Güell…

Le palais Güell était en parti fermé pour restauration. La visite se limitait au sous sol et au rez-de-chaussée.

The Güell palace was half close for renovation. The visit was only ground floor and underground level.

La Sagrada Familia était en construction. Elle est presque finie aujourd'hui.

The Sagrada Familia was under construction. It is now completed now.

La Casa Milà, avec ses formes rondes et sa gestion des courants d'air ! Depuis le toit, il y a un très belle vue sur la Sagrada Familia et le Barcelone moderne de l'Eixemple.

The Casa Milà, with its rounded shapes, its airflow management ! From the roof, there is a really view on the Sagrada Familia and the modern Barcelona of the Eixemple.

La Casa Batlò, qui est inspirée de la mer. Formes arrondies, verres transparents. Son toit en écaille de poisson, ses mosaïques de couleurs… et le ticket d'entrée le plus cher reservé aux espagnols non catalans.

The Casa Batlò, which is inspired by the sea. Rounded shapes, transparent glass. Its roof as fish scale, colorful mosaics… and the most expensive entry ticket for non catalan spanish people.

Le parc Güell. Echec immobilier cuisant ou finalement seul l'entrée est terminée. La vue sur tout Barcelone et la méditerranée est superbe. Les thèmes marins et les mosaïques sont de nouveau présents.

The park Güell, economic failure (none of the house planned where built) and where only the park entry is finished. The view on Barcelona and the mediterranean sea is wonderful. Water themes and mosaic are also present here.

Les musées ! Le Musée Picasso, qui contient pratiquement que des œuvre d'avant la période cubiste : esquisses, période bleue, période rose… il faut réserver sont billet pour être sur de rentrer !

The Picasso museum, which contains mostly pieces from before the cubist period: hand drawings, blue period, Rose period… it is better to book the ticket beforehand to be to get inside!

Le MACBA, le musée d'art moderne. Expos marrantes, et bâtiment clair et lumineux.

La colline de Montjuïc, le musée Mìro, la citadelle, la vue sur Barcelone et le port. Il y a aussi le parc Olympique… mais je ne l'ai pas fait.

The Montjuïc hill, the Mìro museum, the citadel, the view on Barcelona and the harbor. There is also the olympic park… that I didn't visit.

Les 24h cycliste de Montjuïc : ça monte tout en haut, ça redescend tout en bas et on recommence…
